Gajar Halwa/ Carrot Halwa

  • Wash the red carrots, peel and grate them to medium thickness (to bring out the right consistency in the final pudding). 
  • Cook until all the milk is absorbed.
  • Now, add some ghee. Add the cardamom powder. Cook for about 5 minutes. 

  • It can also be served with a scoop of ice cream.
  • This halwa can be frozen and kept for about 1 to 2 months.
